Sheikh Shaban Muhammad Galabuzi, Super Supreme Mufti has appealed to parents especially the Muslim community, to embrace Islamic teachings including the Quran lessons, Prophet Muhammad and all important related literature, alongside other education systems.
While addressing hundreds of parents, prominent Muslim figures and students who gathered for the awarding ceremony of the four (4) best students at the National Quram Competitions held at Gyagenda Education Centre, Kitetika, last weekend, Sheikh Galabuzi noted that, many Muslim families have failed to impart Islam discipline to children to the extent of some graduates failing to even pronounce well, salam.
Sheikh Galabuzi further assured parents, that, both the religion and the government formal education systems can be attained at the same time since it has evidently been realized that most Muslim schools with both systems running concretely are competing and performing even more better than those without Islam classes.
The program that has be running for over three month, was climaxed with Mawlid Al Nabi Rabi’ al-Awwal.
